About Me
Roshelle Czar, Founder of Urgent Justice
I am a certified Peer Support Specialist and Domestic Violence Advocate, and I’ve spent over a decade helping survivors, students, and disabled individuals access the support and safety they deserve.
I founded Urgent Justice to provide fast, trauma-informed, and accessible services for people navigating crisis, housing instability, and systemic barriers—especially in California.
My work is rooted in lived experience, professional training, and a deep commitment to justice.
My Journey and Impact
- Advocated at the California State Capitol for housing rights and mental health reform.
- Supported survivors at Amala Hopeline with trauma, violence, and displacement recovery.
- Guided students and families through legal protections, housing, and education access.
- Policy Fellow on Assembly Bill 132 to expand mental health and housing access statewide.
Awards and Recognition
- Awarded by the U.S. Congress for leadership in advocacy and community healing.
- Honored by California State Capitol for championing student housing justice.
I combine professional expertise with real-life insight to make support quick, respectful, and effective.
Your voice matters. Your healing matters. And your justice is urgent.

A graduate in Gender Studies from Sacramento State University and the recipient of multiple honors from the U.S. Congress and State of California, Roshelle combines trauma-informed insight with rapid, strategic support.
Her work is rooted in empathy, not paperwork — focused on making sure no woman is left unheard, unsupported, or unseen.
